Follow your personal instructions.

YOUR TEAM

Call if something is unclear.

This overview helps you find your way. Read the complete instructions above and follow the personal guidance from your surgical team.

Protect the healing site

Avoid rinsing or spitting during the first 24 hours. Apply firm gauze pressure as directed if bleeding occurs; bleeding should lessen over time.

Cleaning and diet

After 24 hours, brush without disturbing extraction sites and begin gentle rinsing. Choose non-chewing foods on surgery day and a soft-chew diet afterward. Begin lower-socket irrigation only after waiting the five days specified in the guide.

Activity and comfort

Rest after returning home and use the published advice for swelling, head elevation, and cold packs. Follow restrictions on straws, smoking, carbonation, and heavy exertion.

Recovery support

Follow your prescription instructions and call the office if you have concerns. The complete guide explains nausea, antibiotics, and after-hours assistance.
