YOUR GUIDE

Specific to this procedure.

YOUR PLAN

Follow your personal instructions.

YOUR TEAM

Call if something is unclear.

This overview helps you find your way. Read the complete instructions above and follow the personal guidance from your surgical team.

On the day of surgery

Keep the first gauze packs in place for an hour unless bleeding is uncontrolled. The guide explains replacement gauze, swelling care, nourishment, and nausea.

Protect the surgical areas

Do not probe the sites or rinse forcefully. Follow the smoking and straw restrictions. Choose foods you can eat comfortably and avoid foods that may lodge around healing sockets.

Over the next few days

Follow the guide’s gentle mouth-rinse and cleaning routine. Recovery should gradually improve. If a syringe was supplied, do not use it during the first five days.

Long-term cleaning with a water flosser

A water flosser is part of your ongoing full-arch care routine once your surgeon clears you to begin. Do not start during early recovery without that clearance. Your team will show you the cleaning technique and settings for your bridge. Continue brushing and professional maintenance as instructed.

When to call

Contact the office if bleeding stays uncontrolled, healing is not steadily improving, or another concern develops.
