PREPARE

Know your next step.

Know when to seek emergency care

For a severe injury, uncontrolled bleeding, trouble breathing, loss of consciousness, or a suspected head or neck injury, seek emergency care immediately. Walsh is an outpatient practice and does not provide hospital trauma coverage.

Help after a dental or facial injury

Our team can discuss injuries involving teeth and surrounding oral tissues, including sports and workplace accidents. Call promptly so we can help determine the appropriate next step and setting for evaluation.

An individual assessment

Your surgeon examines the injury and reviews appropriate imaging and your medical history. The plan depends on which teeth and tissues are affected. Some injuries require referral to a hospital or another specialist.

Follow-through matters

The team explains treatment, follow-up, and recovery instructions for your injury. For a workplace injury, bring relevant claim or authorization information so our office can help coordinate the administrative side of your care.
